Day 10 Berlin
How delightful to wake up this morning to the sun shining. It is so much warmer.
Off we went to continue our journey on the hop on hop off bus. Our accommodation was difficult to see but so nice inside. First we had to check where tomorrows destination left from. Then we continued. Most buildings are very modern in Berlin as they were bombed during the war. Emperor Wilhelm memorial church was left as a reminder. We saw museums, boats on the river Spree, Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin wall , Koncert Haus, Berlin Victory Column, Grosse Querallee bells and many other sites. We had lunch in the KaDeWe, the largest department store in Germany.
Now to rest up.
