Day 8 Berlin

What a day! We got to the train station with time to spare. Doug went and checked our trip only to find the trains had been changed so off we went. There was a train on the platform so we got on. First mistake. This was the wrong train. We got off at Altrinnet . Luckily a wonderful young man helped us work out how to get back on track. We caught the next train to Olten then got off and caught the next train to Basel then changed trains to Mannheim. After 2 hrs we changed  again to Berlin. Very stressful.
We finally arrived in Berlin and caught a taxi to Kollwitz Mansion. I was a bit worried as there was a lot of graffiti but the apartment is fantastic as is the area. Shopped for salami cheese and liverwurst. Now watching tv. Ahhh.
